Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Push to Main, LLC, doing business as Cookin (“Cookin”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Cookin website and mobile applications (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information. Your email address and login credentials, managed through our authentication provider, plus profile settings such as your display name and preferences.
• Content you submit. The links, photos, videos, recipe text, notes, meal plans, and edits you add to the Service.
• Usage and device information. Basic technical data such as device type, app version, log data, and how you interact with features, used to operate and improve the Service.
• Subscription status. If you subscribe, we receive purchase and entitlement status from Apple and our subscription-management provider. We never receive or store your full payment card details.

2. How we use information

We use your information to:

• provide the Service — parse, store, and organize your recipes;
• operate accounts, subscriptions, and customer support;
• maintain safety and security, and prevent abuse;
• understand usage so we can fix problems and improve features; and
• comply with legal obligations.

3. AI processing of your content

When you submit a link, photo, video, or text, we send that content to third-party AI providers to parse it into a structured recipe. These providers process the content on our behalf under their own data-protection commitments. We do not use your content to train our own AI models.

4. Service providers

We share information only with the service providers we use to run the Service, and only as needed for them to do so:

• authentication, database, and storage providers
• subscription-management providers
• Apple — App Store purchases and payments
• AI providers that process the content you submit
• application hosting providers

The specific providers we use may change over time.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or as part of a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), in which case this policy will continue to apply to it.

5. We do not sell your data

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising. The Service does not show third-party ads.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual content at any time, and you can delete your entire account from your account settings in the app — this permanently removes your account and associated content, except for limited data we must retain for legal, security, or backup purposes, which is deleted on a standard schedule. You can also request deletion by emailing support@cookin.app.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights and choices

You can access and update your account information in the app, and delete your content or account as described above. Depending on where you live, you may have additional legal rights — such as the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information. California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. As stated above, we do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email support@cookin.app.

10. International users

The Service is operated from the United States, and your information is processed and stored there. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will give you reasonable advance notice (for example, by email or an in-app notice). The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
